tips on creating an effective brochure...
1. Determine your primary target.
If your goal is to reach new clients, then make your brochure look more
like a display ad with a catchy headline that gives them a reason to
read more. Remember, you’ve got only seconds to grab their attention!
2. Make it friendly and conversational.
Keep the tone conversational, just like you were talking to them in
person. Speak to the customer in terms of benefits to them. Write it
from their point of view.
3. List your services.
A client who comes to you for one treatment might not know all the
services you offer. A brochure is a great place to list your services
in a format they can take home and read in their leisure and perhaps
even pass on to a friend!
4. Communicate what makes you different, better.
Especially for new clients, be sure to state what they call in the
industry as your "Unique Selling Proposition." If you have a mission
statement include that as well. If not, this might inspire you to
write one!
5. Ask for their business!
Tell them to call you! This is not presumptuous. It’s the whole purpose
of a sales brochure. Don’t forget the call to action.
